19 artists, 15 exhibitions, 8 venues, 3 associate programs, the 14th edition of Photo Phnom Penh Festival is as rich as diverse. It continues to organize the exchange between Europe and Asia and shows new Cambodian photographers.
15years! It has been 15 years since Photo Phnom Penh was born on the initiative of Alain Arnaudet, then director of the French Cultural Center. A festival which had the dual ambition of establishing exchanges between European and Asian artists and fostering the emergence of a new generation of photographers, in a small country still reeling from the murderous madness of the Khmer Rouge regime, the. * The “Photo is your memory” project offers you the opportunity to print or scan the photos of your choice, free of charge, at the locations and times mentioned in this program, throughout the opening weekend of the festival. If your photos are old or damaged, the Photo Phnom Penh team will scan them, retouch them to preserve them, and print them.
